ACTORS INFORMATION
Audition Intensive : TBC
Saturday Morning at Emerge Church Upstairs Studio. Cost $50.
This intensive workshop will prepare actors for an audition. How to deliver a monologue (characterisation, physical movement, projection, accents, style.) How to present an audition song (characterisation, acting while singing, telling the story, and technique.) The directors will provide individual feedback to every person in the workshop.
1-4PM at Emerge Church, 1 Coorparoo Road, Warner
Auditions are required if you want a lead or minor role, featured dancer or soloist. We guarantee that everyone who auditions will be included in the cast!
Rehearsals for BJT productions follow our unique “Show in a week” formula. They will run on the Monday to Friday promptly from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
The actor is required to sing a song, dance, and memorise a monologue with the required characterisation. Younger children may memorise a sentence or two instead of the entire monologue.
The cast list for the show will be available here after the auditions. We double cast all performances to provide multiple opportunities and experience.
