Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends. Adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the motion picture, and based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories. This enchanting musical explores the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

ACTORS INFORMATION

Audition Intensive : November 13

Saturday Morning at Emerge Church Upstairs Studio. Cost $50.

This intensive workshop will prepare actors for an audition. How to deliver a monologue (characterisation, physical movement, projection, accents, style.) How to present an audition song (characterisation, acting while singing, telling the story, and technique.) The directors will provide individual feedback to every person in the workshop.

Audition : November 20

1-4PM at Emerge Church, 1 Coorparoo Road, Warner

Auditions are required if you want a lead or minor role, featured dancer or soloist. We guarantee that everyone who auditions will be included in the cast!

Rehearsals : December 13 - 17

Rehearsals for BJT productions follow our unique “Show in a week” formula. They will run on the Monday to Friday promptly from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Audition Monologue

The actor is required to sing a song, dance, and memorise a monologue with the required characterisation. Younger children may memorise a sentence or two instead of the entire monologue.
